When school says,”we don’t have any lice.”

If your schools says, “We don’t have any lice here” ..don’t believe it!  People think there are “outbreaks” when in reality, there is no one time of the year that people in your school have lice.  The school may not know it, as parents often times don’t fess up when they find lice, but at any given time at least 5% of the kids would have evidence of lice or nits.  Also, if your school is simply picking through the hair to identify lice, they are likely missing up to 40% of the cases.  Lice and nits are very hard to see, as they blend in with brown hair.  Is someone has ALOT of bugs, you will see them.  However, most cases are not that apparent.  If you think your child might have lice find out how to identify it here and then find a Lice Nannies USA location near you.
