Who We Are

Erin Sheen

Co-Founder, VP of Local Operations

Background

Erin is a proud Single Mom by Choice to Emma and their Golden Retriever Daisy. Erin has worked in HR as a Corporate Recruiter for more than 20 years.

In 2016, she founded the Dublin Lice Nanny, and began helping families remove head lice in her kitchen during weekend and evening hours. The business quickly took off, and the demand now exceeds Erin’s available time.

With the strategic guidance of her brother-in-law, John, and the clinical expertise of her sister, Paige, our company is poised to offer other moms, retirees, and corporate warriors, the opportunity to earn a lucrative income while continuing to prioritize other work or family obligations first. Erin has a B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Personal Motto

“Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.”
- Golda Meir

Why Lice

I am able to help families in a great time of stress. Clients are often in tears when they walk into my center, and are always happy when they leave, lice free! I have removed lice from kids who were then able to return to summer camp, sleepovers, and even removed lice from a teenager on the day of her homecoming dance. It’s very rewarding to help people on one of their most stressful days.

John Khoury, PharmD

Co-Founder, President/CEO

Background

John received his doctor of pharmacy degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. He has been in healthcare for more than 20 years in various clinical and management positions and is dedicated to providing high value services that alleviate suffering and enable a better quality of life for caregivers, patients and family members alike.

In 2016, John partnered with Erin and his wife Paige to plan out and launch Lice Nannies USA, thereby enabling "Local Lice Nannies" the ability to become heroes in their own communities, while providing a much needed service.

In his minimal spare time, John loves to hang out with his family.

Personal Motto

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”
- Proverbs 27:17

Why Lice

We live in a society that makes mountains out of molehills. An estimated 6-12 million children get lice every year, and they come from all walks of life- rich and poor, black and white, urban and rural. I want to enable community heroes that remove the stigma of certain conditions, and remove one major barrier to a child missing school. We live, work and play in our communities, and the community is the birthplace of our future. I want to enable both.

Paige Khoury, RN, BSN

VP of Clinical Operations

Background

Paige has been an RN, BSN for over 20 years. She has had a wide variety of nursing jobs over the years including; Cardiovascular ICU, Community Health Nurse, School Nurse, and Diabetes Coach.

She believes it’s an honor and a privilege to have someone trust her to help make them well again. Whether it’s someone recovering from a lung transplant, diabetes crisis, or a family with a lice infestation, they are all equally as important and will be treated with respect and compassion.

In her spare time, Paige enjoys hanging out with her family, and kissing on her rescue pups.

Personal Motto

“Always be kind, you never know what someone is going through”

Why Lice

I love the fact that removing lice from a family provides instant gratification. A family walks in the center, stressed out (possible crying), and full of misinformation. After 30 minutes they are lice free, extremely grateful, and full of educational facts that they can share with others in the community to help wipe out the stigma of having head lice. Sending them home happy and calm, fills my heart with joy. I love my job!
