The Job
- Flexible, part-time contract work — accept jobs based on your availability.
- Weekday availability required — hours are unpredictable and on an as-needed basis.
- Location requirement: Must live within 10 minutes of Plano, TX.
- Hours: Approximately 6–15 per week.
- Pay: $45–$70 per family, plus potential tips.
- Paid training: $25/hour. No experience necessary!
Each treatment takes approximately 1.5 hours. We’ll train you to use our easy-to-learn, non-toxic oil treatment method, which has a reported 98% effectiveness rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide head lice treatments for families.
- Educate and reassure parents about head lice.
- Deliver compassionate care to families during stressful situations.
Qualifications
- Must live within 10 minutes of Plano, TX (non-negotiable).
- Must be available on weekdays; weekend availability is a plus.
- Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children.
- Reliable and flexible with an unpredictable schedule.
Important Contractor Information
This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Taxes are not withheld, and contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations, including applicable Schedule C filing.
Head lice are primarily spread through direct head-to-head contact. Avoiding hair-to-hair contact helps minimize your risk of exposure.
